Aeroflex Aerocoat Plastic Paint White 3.785 lt
Aerocoat is Aeroflex's own water-based pure acrylic emulsion paint for EPDM closed-cell insulation. It seals exposed foam against ultraviolet light and weathering, which is what otherwise degrades elastomeric insulation installed outdoors or in an unprotected plant room.
It stretches more than 400% and bonds with an adhesion promoter, so the film stays put and stays intact when the insulation is squeezed, compressed or moves with the pipe. Fungus resistant, and no primer is needed.
This is the full 3.785 litre gallon can in white — the working size for an actual job rather than a touch-up. Aeroflex quote approximately 36 m² per coat from one gallon, so allow around 18 m² finished at the recommended two coats. That is a substantial run of rooftop pipework, a chiller skid or a full plant room.
White is specified where a reflective finish matters — chilled water, refrigeration and air conditioning services — and wherever the installation is on show. Aerocoat is also used as a colour-coding coat so pipe functions can be identified at a glance.
Thin 5–10% with clean water, stir thoroughly, apply to a clean surface free of oil, grease and chalking. Cleans up with water. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.
