Aeroflex Aerocoat Insulation Paint - Black 3.78L
Aerocoat is Aeroflex's own water-based pure acrylic emulsion paint for EPDM closed-cell insulation. Applied over exposed pipework it forms a flexible, permanently bonded barrier against ultraviolet light and weathering.
With more than 400% elongation and a built-in adhesion promoter it moves with the foam rather than cracking off it, and it carries a fungus inhibitor. No primer needed.
This is the full 3.785 litre gallon can in black, matching the natural colour of Aeroflex EPDM so the finished system reads as one continuous material. Aeroflex quote approximately 36 m² per coat from a gallon, so allow around 18 m² finished at two coats — a working quantity for rooftop runs, external risers and plant room pipework.
Thin 5–10% with clean water, stir thoroughly, apply to a clean surface free of oil, grease and chalking. Cleans up with water. Read the Safety Data Sheet before use.
